The story:
So recently I was testing some Vs. Systems stuff I had. One of my boards has Hogan's Alley installed on it. The game worked 100% fine with no issues when I was running it, then I switched it off for a while and turned it back on. Next thing I know, all I hear out of the speaker is a buzzing sort of noise (not like a low buzzing, it's being generated by the game not some sort of shorting issue. Sounds like a vuvuzela). Anyway, no other sounds work, all I get is the buzzing. I tried moving the motherboard from my test rig to my Vs. cabinet, and it still does the same thing. I move the ROM's to a known working Vs. board, same thing.
Just to let you all know, I do not have a Vs. gun yet (still waiting for it to arrive in the mail). Does not having a Vs. gun attached make the game mess up or do this? Is there anything else causing this?
