The VS board has Super Mario Bros on the SW1 side, and Excite Bike on the SW2 side.

SMB works great, but Excite Bike has weird graphical issues. Temp and Time seem to be duplicated and one moves with the track. Some track obstacles also have duplicates that stay in place randomly.

Any guidance on where to start troubleshooting this?

(the color is off because it's playing on a bad tube)

Have you tried to swap side of the games to rule out issues with the game roms?
Agreed with the swap sides suggestion. Also simply reseating all eproms and making sure the legs and socket are clean as well. CPU and PPU included when reseating.
And if neither of those suggestions help, You could swap it all onto another known working pcb and see if the issue follows.

I cleaned (dioxit) and swapped the ROMS/PPU. ExciteBike appears to work on the "good" side. The 2nd monitor died, though, so I don't know if SMB is working on the malfunctioning side. I will have to swap the monitor over to the "bad" side to see if SMB is working.

I didn't swap out the CPU. It sounds like that should be the next test if SMB is indeed not working on the "bad" side?

The CPU's would be the last socketed thing to check. So I would definitely try that if SMB isn't working now on the side you moved it to. Now that Excite bike is working, you know it's not eprom related

I played EB for a little bit before moving the monitor over, and noticed some glitching on the good side. Could this be a monitor glitch? I've replaced every electrolytic cap on it, along with the flyback (though the flyback turned out to be smaller in size, and waaaaay sensitive on the screen adjustment pot).

I don't remember it doing this while playing SMB, but that game doesn't have a lot of fast movement on the screen.
