I just installed a working chassis after mine messed up. Powering it on still does nothing. Getting power to the plug in the cab. 105V.

When the old chassis was in there, something happened and the Vs. board started smoking. Nothing looks wrong.

What is keeping this thing from powering up? I hope I didn't just buy a chassis for nothing...

So I'm getting 105v at the plug inside to power the Monitor and the Marquee.

However, I can't get a solid reading at the plug that goes from the top of the power supply to the harness to the board.

Could my PS be bad?

Also, I can't discharge the monitor. It doesn't seem to get power at all.

The plug is giving 105v, so shouldn't something happen when I plug in the new chassis? Is there any other way I can check if the chassis is getting any power to it?

I'm SO confused... :( I just want to play some Dr. Mario.

sounds like it could very HV shutdown ... there is an adjustment pot ... try to turn it back to 108v. careful.. these pots are flimsy.

The pot was stuck and had some white stuff on it. Partially turned to white dust when I turned it. When I got it to turn it read 138v now...

So there's a crack in the 'working' chassis I just got in the mail from another member today. Didn't initially notice it. Took it under a bright light and looked it well over...

Does anything else stand out that would cause me to get 138v at the BJ?

You going to Wicks on Sat? With buffet's help I have repaired a few sanyos. You should swing by with the monitor and both chassis. He has most of the parts on hand as well, you should hit him up if you plan on coming

Got something at 2 and 7. I'm 2 hours away...

I checked continuity on the broken part. I'm going to solder jumpers where it is broken and test that.

What wire should I use?
