Vortek VR Software & parts availability (and video card)

Just got my Vortek home and vertical, getting it running now. This is the BIG one with the platform.

Got in touch with Global VR, but suddenly unable to get a reply.

Anyone know of a source for game install discs and dongles? I only have beach head 2000, 2002, 2003. Computer is a 1ghz celeron- I need to upgrade the RAM and video card as it's currently using on board tho.

Also looking for some replacement plastic parts - specifically the right side yellow pod plastic.

Side pod art that I have is: Beach Head 2000 (left pod) beach head 2002 (right pod) heavy gear 2 (right pod) - would be interested in others (or scans / photos of them)

Any help appreciated.

Cheers!

I've also just got my hands on a Vortek V3 system -except mine has Operation Blockade (CD and dongle).

I'm also looking for the other software and dongles. GlobalVR haven't been particularly responsive :(

Previously I've found a thread with one of the KLOV members saying he'd managed to crack the dongle software (I think it was Xavier) though my google skills are entirely failing at the moment and I've not managed to re-find it.

tldr: +1 - would also like information/software for this platform please :)

manufacturer is not going to support 15yo product.
you will have better luck checking with distributors who are
glad to sell old parts they are close to throwing out.
i've even gotten parts for free in some cases. worth trying.

I wasn't really expecting any support from the company, but I was hoping they'd be able to sell me some new licenses and install disks. Luckilly the PC I have is the later one with the graphics and memory upgrade (and even without, it seems trivial to emulate).

Ah well, guess I'm stuck waiting to see if I can find the other disks/dongles second hand - or find a better plan... c'mon internets :)

Considering those bastards at GlobalVR sold me a "harness" for nearly $40.00 that consisted of (I kid you not) 4 wires with 3 headers.... total...

You'd probably be looking at some serious coin for a license/dongle for their 15 year old games.

EDIT: They do still have the install discs available to purchase... but no dongle...
