anybody know a way to lower the volume on whirlwind? I have the pot turned all the way down but it is still to loud for the location it is in.no adjustment in the menu that i can find? thanks

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but if you turn the volume control up, does it get louder? The reason I ask is that the volume pot only attenuates the max volume, so if the pot is going bad it can be running full blast all the time.
 
Look at the pot. There will be a resistor connected to one terminal of the pot. That resistor prevents the sound from being turned down below a certain level. Williams put that resistor there at the factory. I always remove that resistor.

Jumper that resistor with a jumper wire and the sound will turn all the way down like it should.
