Hi there, I have a non-working Pinball Action with a weird voltage issue. Using a setup that works 100% for all my boards (in terms of voltage), when I apply voltage to the board, the reading on the edge connector is 7.2V. On the resistor that sits right next to the 5V LED (on the board) it reads 3.2V (the LED is ON, I presume that the correct voltage is supplied??). On the 4 main caps, it reads 5.1V.
The game does not produce video and is otherwise dead (no sound). Adjusting the 5V down on the switcher supply results in some garbled video but nothing really to indicate functionality (no audio).
The 12V reads 12.2V on the edge connector.
Also, the chips (Z80s) seem to get power since they are getting warmer with time.
The question is this: is the voltage on the edge connector that I should be worried about? Looking at the LED for the 5V on the board, it seems like it is OK (it is ON).
Thanks!
