I'm looking for info on this machine.I just picked one up that is reading Low battery.
When my IGT did this I had to use a clear ROM chip after changing the battery will I need to do this to this one also?
And I was also looking to find a manual for it.
Thanks
Walter

Walter,

I would refer you to newlifegames.net, but their server has been down for a few days (Arrrrrr!) Anyway... I just picked up a VLC as well and found out the sad news (Through NLG) that its a "boat anchor"...... The clear chips are extremely rare. You have to have a chip for the specific game, and good luck finding one because the factory eproms are programed to self destruct if copied, so....in other words, no clear chips anywhere. As for the manual, it is quite large, and not available online via pdf, and is poorly written. I picked my VLC up in a lot of slots. I cleared my IGT's and Bally with chips, Sigma and WMS with the push of a button, but sigh... The VLC may go on cl or become a Juke.... Sorry....

Here is what they are going for: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...e2de68%3D&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:VRI

sorry to here that I got mine for $25 so no big loss. I have been trying to get on to NLG I thought they were gone I hope its just the server down

I really hope its just their server, I ran into an issue with one I'm working on and the "Grail" of slots sites is toast, sad.... Fingers crossed..

OK I have done some checking and located all the batteries and ordered them. If someone in the Houston area has a clear chip I feel I'm going to need one. Or anyone have a clear chip I could send you my board to be cleared.
Thanks

Lets assume the board is a lost cause I know the monitor and touch screen are working besides a new wiring harness what would I need to get the touch screen working for a Pot of Gold or some type of touch screen slot machine? Are all touch screens the same or are they all different depending on the game?
