what's the sound issue on it?

the sound goes in and out from being easy to hear to almost non existent. Someone had mentioned that simply changing the sound pot fixed this issue for them. I hadn't tested that when I had (this) game.

wmac may have done something with it, not sure, but that is what was happening a few weeks back. I rejuved it and cleaned her up a bit when I had it. good solid cab for sure.

A deal of those likings wouldn't last 5 minutes here - Godspeed on your sale my friend, $100 should make someone a VERY happy gamer.

Yeah, I paid a good bit more for my original VF, and id pay this in a heartbeat for VF2..... So.... Anyone driving over the rocky mountains anytime soon and feel like hauling this back? :p

Seriously, sweet deal for someone. Even though its in the original cab instead of the vf2 cab, its easy enough to swap between the 2. Even better deal if this still has the original nanao dual res monitor....

I wonder if the sound amp is the same as the VF1 board.

I have another VF1 project cab that I may take on both and build one for home and one for service. I would want one with the VF2 Model 2 boards maybe a duo VF1 VF2 if that is possible. The other I would set to JAMMA for Sega STV.

The sound amp in my VF2 is the same as VF1. Right now my VF2 has no audio! I am on the search for a VF2 board set. A cabs keep popping up, but no part outs.

Sega STV's are standard res, not sure if they will work with medium res monitors.

Both VF1 and VF2 are med res. They are sega model 1 and model 2 hw iirc. While they both use external audio amp's, they are different. AFAIK you can make them work with the other, but they are not designed to.

PS virtua fighter remix was the one on STV hardware.

Dont forget VF Kids! :)

I think it is possible. That's my plan with my VF1 anyways (run VF1 and 2). I'm under the impression the wiring harnesses are compatible...but I could be wrong.
