So I'm in Shepardsville for my cousin's wedding at the churchill downs this weekend. We're staying at my uncle's house and he has a little arcade/slot machine setup in the basement.

This WWF machine powers on, but there's a garbled mess on the screen. I took out the PCB and resat all the chips/connectors to no avail. He said I can have it! Luckily my dad is here and he brought his truck, so getting it back to Memphis is no big deal.

it doesn't seem in bad shape at all. Any ideas on what would fix this thing? It has an aftermarket power supply and it's not original. other than that, the rest seems original. I think this is a Williams machine as it looks just like the junker Stargate we found a while back (I'm still restoring that).

Depending on exactly where you are in Shepardsville you are probably within minutes from me. I would invite you to play games...but the game room is still in construction mode so no games other than a Centipede in my workshop. If you make it this way again make sure to let me know.

excellent. i'm right off preston hwy in a neighborhood off Cammi Dr. Forgot the names of the other roads. I know it's near bullit lliquor store or something.
I would think about skipping the wedding to come over, haha.

I also thought about voltages so I'm hoping that's right. I want to restore the original power supply since it's still in it. Can't wait to get it home!

Let me know if you end up needing a WWF Superstars pcb, I've got a working one I could sell.

That's too cool. Wish we had time to meet up.

Here's a couple more pics. The power boards/plate are gone.

I can't wait to get this thing running!

You know, I was about to post that this is not an original cab! I was just reading through the forum. It's kind of funny since I'm in the middle of scratch-building a Stargate cab. Hmmmm....

Yeah, looks like a sync issue with the monitor for sure. Can you hear it playing?

BTW, tell him youll take that PP off his hands now before it breaks down :D

Man, what a delima. Strip the cab and turn it back into a Stargate and build a new cab for WWF?

I can hear it playing when it's on. The screen is just garbled. I'll play with the sync controls after the wedding if I'm not too drunk tonight. I gotta go get ready :(.

Congrats on the free score! Yeah definitely check out the sync adjustments for the monitor and that just might do the trick. If you did build a cab for the Superstars, there is what I consider to be a dedicated version. Here's a quick pic of mine. It matches the picture on the flyer and the dimensions that the manual gives for the cabinet. It's very possibly Dynamo made, but I haven't seen a ton of other cabs use this type like say a cut corner.

That cab looks nice, is that a repro bezel? I've never seen one that wasn't faded away.

The sad part, out of all the people on that bezel I think only two of them are still alive. :(

It isn't a repro bezel, but the pic actually hides the fading. There is some fading but it is more along the bottom half than the top.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I can't help but notice that 4 out of 9 of the folks on the bezel are dead now.. Elizabeth Hulette, Andre the Giant, Big Boss Man, Randy Savage. Crazy..
