Hey all!

As I do each and every Halloween, I'll be once again opening up the garage/arcade for any and all who might feel so inclined to stop by and take in some old school arcade action.

My humble collection is all 100% happy and working (knock on fiberboard! :D ), including my 2 additions since last year which are a dedicated Major Havoc and a Boxing Bugs.

I'll be opening from around 6:30PM to 9:30/10ish or so, depending on how many folks are still around by then.

If you're in my area (San Francisco/Bay Area), shoot me a PM if you want to stop by and I'll let you know more precisely where I am ;) .

Bingo! :D

I'm pretty sure she plans on stopping by again for this year. ;)

Jon

Yep! That's where I fell for that frustratingly rare game. Needless to say, I'll be back this year again, elbowing little kids out of the way so I can be glued to the same game!!!

Thanks for opening your arcade to us again this year, Jon. I'm really looking forward to it!

Hmmm...maybe I'll set that one to quarters :D .

Just kiddin'...

See you next Monday!

FYI, I brought my Food Fight to my son's elementary school "carnival" yesterday that they hold each year (it's a fund raising event for the school). The kids (mostly the boys ;) ) lined up for the whole 4 hours to play it almost non-stop.

Hopefully I'm helping to build some long-lasting memories of playing a "real" arcade machine with the young 'uns...

As I always do, here are some pics from this year's fun. Not a whole lot of trick-or-treaters this time around...it was raining most of the time, but those that did come by had fun.

Also had several of my son's friends stop by along with their parents (who also had a good time) .

Glad the games (I'm up to 30 of 'em now) all performed nearly perfectly (whew!)...just some minor issues that I was able to rectify pretty quickly.

Top notch collection there! Thanks for sharing. Somehow, I need to be in the Bay Area next Halloween!

I see the kid is visiting Doodle City on the I,Robot. Cool.

Hey Brick Top!

It remains true that a good number of my games go to CAX each year so you can always come down for the show again ;) .

And certainly if you're ever in the area for whatever the reason, feel free to stop by.

Jon

Thank you for sharing your collection with your fellow collectors and the candy-grubbing collectors of the future. It was a great time . . . again!! My first time playing Boxing Bugs was a blast!! And my apologies if I left some drool on your Inferno. ;)
