I bought a 19" universal mount about 1 year ago from Arcade Shop and noticed they are not available anymore... Is there somewhere else to get these, or is there a good replacement for them?

can the mods just put up a sticky about monitors?

I think the problem is there is on definitive info about monitors. Sure CRTs are likely on there way out but they still keep popping up here and there and from what I've heard some of the major dealers like Happ have pretty long lists of buyers waiting for monitors. If nothing else that shows there is demand.

Didnt the government halt the manufacturing of CRTs?

possibly but they are still manufactured in other countries and from all accounts I've heard they can still be shipped into our country.

Thanks bro, that's good information to know. Hopefully they dont get on some energy kick and decide not to allow the importation of these into the US.

Shouldn't this be a reason for us arcade guys to panic that they are stopping production on CRT's

IMO no. There are still plenty of jamma games that are not exactly classics with nice monitors to be had. Many of the older monitors are repairable and despite being old many do not have bad screen burn. Out of the 66 games and maybe a dozen more monitors I have or have had, only about 5 have had bad screen burn. Plus if you are willing to take the very little effort to learn to do a tube swap, the old 80's 19in TV's are still out there with burn free tubes and most people who own these will sell them for $20 or less if not give them away. Plus how many years have vector monitors not been made? Although not plentiful they are still available.

How long can an arcade monitor actually last before its not repairable ?
