Vision Pro Monitor - No Isolation Transformer Needed?

So I have a 19" Vision Pro cga monitor that has a 3 prong power cord on it. Am I correct in assuming that no isolation transformer is needed with this?

I bought this from Happ years ago.

Thanks,

Brent

I have two 19"Vision pros as well that I bought back in 2010. And they did NOT require a ISO transformer. Just plugged into the mains. Hope this help.

Great!

Thank you.

There were several incarnations of the Vision Pro monitors. It helps to know the exact model number. There was one that did need an isolation transformer if I recall correctly.

Only problem with that is that monitor actually stays powered even when game is off if the game is still plugged into wall...I usually wire them into existing wiring..or modify the power setup so that doesn't happen..

I'm sure the monitor gurus will chime in, but meanwhile, you should be able to see what looks like a "miniature" iso on the chassis itself... If you can't find one on there, I'd be careful plugging in before verifying... All of my Vision pro's 19, require an iso.

Model # MTG 1901CN

And there looks to be a small iso trans on the monitor board.
