Here's the latest project that Rturbo had for me. Virtual pinball, all made from scratch, using available pin parts, everything on it is new. Still have to make some lexan for the head, speaker grills, mount the side rails, coin door, pretty much just finish the mock up and get it up and running, then break it down for paint and stenciling. I'm even drawing the art for it too. Big thanks to turbo for fronting everything for this project to happen, everything was designed around the parts to make it all fit!

Nice project, what size screens do you have installed ?

42" playfield, 32" backglass, and 19" dmd , all widescreen. I did have to route in to the game sides to get the 42" to fit, and still use a widebody lockbar and lockbar mech for a ST:TNG pin.

Freaking sweet! I really want to build one of these! I was surprised at how fun and playable games are on a setup like that. Even though mine was my TV propped up on empty boxes and pillows.

I'm toying with the idea of making one myself. Can I ask what kind of PC you're going to throw in there to run the whole thing? And are you going Visual Pinball or Future Pinball?

Rturbo has the pc specs, i have it here but haven't turned it on yet. Visual pinball i think is what we are running.

wow lots of work went into that its going to be nice when done. just to give an ida of how much it costs I have about 2 grand into monitors the computer and the cab on mine and I have not even played it yet

Bumping this one - I picked up this cab from Brett last week and I have some time to work on it while I am waiting on parts for other projects.

I took a look at my pin here (Fish Tales) and made some very minor adjustments, have bondoed the head and am ready for paint.

The guts are a Dual Core 2GHz Intel with 4 GB RAM, 80 GB SSHD and 2 NVidia cards, one 6800 and one GTS250. 42" Plasma Playfield is 1080p via HDMI and the backglass is VGA. (1024X768). I am still working on the computer set up but I had 25 tables working at last count. Had to buy a new video card for the DMD monitor as it would lose configuration after a reboot.

I will post some more pics as I start to put it together afther the paint dries. I spent another $70 today in trim pieces, and I hope that is it!

I have $2800 invested in it so far... ($2797.30 to be exact)
