I have a Virtua striker2 99 that needs to go out on route(don't ask me why) it keeps reading 99 credits...not on free play ...switched to free play and back no change and played ..the credits didn't go down...anyone anyone Bueller? Bueller?

Original, '98, '99, or 2000?

My theory is it's either a bad NVRAM, or it has way more than 99 credits racked up and the on-screen display is just maxed out. Maybe if you found a way to reset NVRAM? I know how to do it on Naomi but the first three versions were on Model 3 which I have no experience with. Does it have a service menu?

yeah it does I have cleared everything clearable and took the bios batt out....it's a 99

Bad NVRAM or an addressing issue probably... Run through all the tests in the service menu, see if something errors. There's a RAM and ROM test in there right?

99 == Model 3. Never seen a Model 3 in person. I'm just guessing based on experience with other Sega hardware (ST-V and Naomi).

mmmhmmm you were right I ran the test first thing I must have just missed it, then I just wrote it off. I gotta find some ram chips for it I think it was IC21&22 anyways at least I know now I wouldn't have checked again if you wouldn't have pointed that out. Thanks
