My neighbor caught me outside working on some of my games. (of course) hes got a VR UR that is showing a blue screen. Can I make any assumptions of where to start?

I cant tell if this is a monitor or PCB issue.

Any leads would help. I believe its a ms8-26su Medium Rez.

Thanks

Its been a while but I believe mine did the same when I got it. Open the back and see if you see a row of green LEDs lit in the PCB cage. If not, check that the fan on the power supply is working and test for voltage coming out of that power supply. Apparently that is a common failure in the VR games (along with the PCB stack).

My fan was siezed up and the power supply cooked. Putting in a new Peter Chou power supply fixed it right up for me.

I documented it here...

Thanks Michael,
I will check when he gets home. I did notice 2 fans in the door that were not on, either thats tripping something or cooked a PSU or something.

I will advise. At least its not a 9 hour trip.
