Vintage Vault Arcade and Gameroom ~ Christmas Party (12/23/12)

Here are some pictures of the family Christmas party at the homestead this year. I totally missed a great photo-op as there was a full on Santa Claus outfit with beard that someone dressed up as to pass out presents this year. Next year I'm going to get Santa to pose playing Donkey Kong, Star Wars and a few racers. Enjoy the pictures!

So did you hit the auction that morning and then have a party that night? (At least I thought I saw you at the auction).

The auction was the 22nd on saturday. The party was the 23rd on sunday. I picked up the combo tattoo/sticker/candy machine that is in one of the photos.

incredible game room you have there, looks like everyone was enjoying the more modern games & the megatouch's and not really into any of the classics - amazing collection, I'd be playing all of them if I was there.

so sweet dude. Nice work!! Looks like fun. There's somethng to be said for having games that everyone (read: non gaming nerds) like to play, not just quirky grails...You seem to have a really balanced mix.

My Greyhound Video Trivia is always the second most played machine at my parties, right after the Mame cabinet. I have added a Megatouch and a Touchmaster since my last gathering, I will have to see how those do.

That was the idea. The younger crowd gravitates towards the gun games, drivers and Megatouches. The older crowd does the classics. I've seen many of us older folks doing a round robin trying out the classics they remember all over again.

This Christmas when it wasn't dinner or present time, most of the parents/adults were upstairs while the kid crowd was downstairs.
