Rebuilding the left flipper on my '82 Mr & Mrs Pacman & out came this nasty looking stuff:
Leftflipperparts002.jpg

Some sort of metal sleeve to repair a broken flipper bushing & what looks like a "field repair" coil stop.

There is only one place that I have found to get that flipper rebuild kit for these pins.

Steve Young at Pinball Resource

You will need to call and set up and account with him. It is worth it, my first experience was easy as crap.

I just installed that rebuild kit this past weekend. It is the strange as hell bally flipper parts from that time. You can replace with williams/bally flipper units. I saw it somewhere online.

2 Flipper Plungers
2 Flipper Nyliners

I went with the full rebuild on my Baby Pacman and night and day do not even come close to comparing to the difference.

Yeah, have placed several orders from them already. Good people, very knowledgeable. Just finished rebuilding the two lower flippers & working on the top one now - someone epoxied the flipper shaft to the pawl. I ended up cutting the flipper bat off with my dremel tool to remove the assembly.
This Mr & Mrs Pacman machine has had a hard life, no doubt it was in some arcade for years & had several "jr" pinball mechanics working on it. Almost have it back to full operational condition. A few more hours..........
