Why jump on me in a thread that's bumped from months ago?
To the vast majority of people most "classic" vids are boring as hell. Don't like it? Too bad, that's reality. It's not a war between vids and pinball. I have had more of both than 99% of people on here will ever have. I appreciate collecting/restoring and PLAYING classic arcade games as much as anyone. I've also done more for the arcade collecting "community" than most. When I look at my basement with it's finite amount of space and think that I could have a Twilight Zone pinball or something like a Tron upright in relatively that same space (yes, I know the vid will take up less) the choice is pretty obvious.
I've seen many collectors evolve the same way the OP of this thread has. Start collecting vids and move on to pinball because it's just more fun (to them). I did the same thing myself. I will say it again. Vids get boring. It's just how it is.
