I thought it would be fun to have a little harmless video bragging fun. I'm sure there have been tons of topics in the past having people show pictures of their arcades so I thought I'd do a topic of taking videos of your arcades.
My arcades tend to have more of a visual effect so video captures the essence of what I collect better than pictures anyway.

This is my arcade, well, the first section of it. I keep all of my music games and a couple of my other cabinets in this room. This is actually only half of my cabinets. I have another room for my stand up cabs and daytona USA twin set but it's not cleaned up yet. I took this film after straightening up the room from a long series of projects to get things in order. Currently the Playchoice is down to get another board to run in it but it should be back up in a flash.

I have lots of artwork, marquees, and posters on the wall. Feel free to ask anything about the arcades or things that strike your fancy and I'll do my best to answer them. I hope to have a video of my other arcade room up in a jiffy. Until then, enjoy! and post your own videos of your arcade machines.

Avid - I'm actually just really not into beat mania and it's not from a lack of trying. I do have an arcade style home console controller for it should the desire ever arise.

Gozer - I am 29. I started my collection at 22 when I purchased a DDR machine to place at my college so that my friends could have something to play on. What you'll find more interesting is I've only paid actual cash for a couple of my arcades. Most of my arcades I've traded floor covering work for which is my profession. I know a local arcade operator that also owns rental houses that I install and do carpet cleaning for.

Most of the bemani machines come from other friends who have upgraded their own machines and dcided they would like to have a renovation done for their home. For instance I installed a ceramic floor in a kitchen, entry, utility room, and bathroom and it paid for most of my popn machinE.

I'm so glad that Guitar Hero crap has finally died out. I was in the Game/Music store the other day, there are just rows and rows of used plastic guitars and drums.

heres my junkers as of january.... freedom pin has been fixed and tron went down since..

A couple mins in you see all my yu suzuki games.. (vfighter, outrun, superhangon etc)

I dont know why but i gravitate twoards drivers and other games where you control some sort of machine... my fave is and always will be race drivin. I have a strong connection to that game, as a kid i played the feek out of it at the local "tilt" arcade in northtowne mall.

Here's the latest video of our basement 'cade...

(click on video to go to YouTube for HD...)

Picked up a couple things recently though that have to find space down there so... I'm moving things around again now. :)

What I am wondering is how much room do you guys consider acceptable between facing games? I see a lot of them in these videos, and I have a few that are facing.
I know, the more space the better, but not all of us have a huge room for it.
What would you say is the average distance between 2 games facing each other?

Also, how many games do you have running to one outlet at a time?

mine. Added a candy crane, Flash pinball and Hungry Hungry Hippo's. Still trying to figure out where the heck I'm going to put them.

My game arcacde on my YouTube channel:

A walkthru of our downstairs game arcade and pool room with all my restored game projects. The diner booth Seeburg juke box works--it operates a CD player that's located in a cabinet behind the bar in the next room (at end of vid). I also restored the antique 1921 Cable Nelson player piano. I'm a guy--we don't have to grow up.
