Some friends of mine work for a video game developer in the SF Bay Area that is working on an Arcade Compilation. It's one of those game titles where they get the licenses to a bunch of classic Arcade games and then put them all on one disc. These guys were out at California Extreme getting pics of many of the cabinets there, but there's still some cabinet pictures they're looking for. So they've turned to me, knowing I'm a collector, and asked if I could reach out to the arcade community for some help! Below is a list of the games that they still need pics of. If you're interested and can take good hi rez pics of the cabinet and send them in, they'd also include you in the 'special thanks' section of the credits.

They're looking for pictures of the following dedicated machines:

· Marble Madness

· Rampage

· Spy Hunter

· Spy Hunter II

· Super Off Road

· Total Carnage

· Vindicators Part II

· Xenophobe

The images they need of your cabinets are:

Side Art

· Marquee (with the backlight on)

· Bezel Art

· Control Panel Art

· Title Screen (of the game)

· Frontal shot of the entire cabinet

It would be ideal if you could shoot the pictures of the cabinet up against a white wall or other plain background, it will make it much easier for the artists to manipulate later. If you have one of these cabinets and are willing to help, reply back, or PM me and I can connect you with the team working on this game.

Thanks for reading, and let me know if this should have been posted elsewhere.

I'm pretty sure Vindicators 2 was never dedicated, just a conversion. I have a Vindicators and am in the area, if that helps.

Yep! that does help quite a bit. Do you have a decent camera that you could use to take pictures of the machine? If so, I can just put you directly in contact with a friend over at the developer and you could send the pics to them.

Their time frame is starting to get really tight, so they'd like to avoid having to set up 10 different appointments and run all over the Bay Area. It would be preferable if people were willing to take pics and simply email them into the game developer.

Thanks!

Just a quick morning bump to see if anyone else out there has one of these cabinets and can help with pictures!

For anyone that can help, I'll be sending PM's with contact info for someone on the team, so that you can send your pics to them. If you guys need me to, I can be a middle man (if you don't feel comfortable talking with them), but normally I'd stay out of the way to keep things simple.

Thanks again!

I've got some decent shots of a restored Rampage. The only thing not original is the yellow t-molding on the CP lip, which they could recolor if necessary.

Thanks for the pics Phetishboy!

I have to say that's probably the nicest Rampage machine I've ever seen! The guys at the Dev studio saw the pics of the Rampage here in the thread, and they loved it!

If there's anyone else that has pics of machines on the list in my first post, please let us know or post them to this thread!

Thanks for all the help!!

Sorry to troll your thread dude, but that is one nice Spy Hunter! Loved that game as a kid.

Totally inspired now to do the restore on mine. Now where did I leave that spare time I had??

And I don't think I've seen a Rampage looking that good even when it was new. Damn, you guys do some nice work.

Definitely nice examples for your compilation. Wish I had some pictures to add, sounds like a fun project.

Hey everyone.... I heard back from the team, and they were able to use the SpyHunter pics that frizzlefry posted. They were the exact views we needed. They've sent me an image of some pics they took at California Extreme of a Toobin' that gives a perfect idea of what they need.

For the Marble Madness, we'd just need a few more views, and could hopefully get some with the game running. The same would apply for phetishboy's restored Rampage. We'd need straight on side shots and some pics of the front of the cabinet with the game running if possible.

See the attached image for reference of the angles they need to include your cabinets in this game. Does anyone else have one of the games on the list in the first post? Know anyone that does? The developers are willing to put you in the credits if you can supply images of one of your cabinets!

Thanks again to everyone that's posted pics!
