I see threads from time to time pop up about pictures of the game rooms, lit up pics, and videos.
Which is more desirable to most? I have posted pics and lit up pics, but Im not sure of a video.
So whats the "essence" of making a good game room video. Nice flow - minimal shots of the floor/cab bottoms - music, no music?
Just curious.

I think video is best. We have all seen pics of games, but I think videos give you the ambiance of the game room much better.

I think vids are the best, they help show all aspects of the gameroom including ambience, lighting, game spacing, paint, themes, wall art, power setup and everything else all at once.

One of the coolest things I saw thru the vids was Parrothead's nebula/star projector thing. Very cool. Seeing it move and work with games on did it way more justice than a pic.

Ahh,
well the reason I ask, is that as I finally have most of the power done to the games, and can switch them on with a wall switch (avg 6 per switch 20a circuits, switch, wire and outlet), I guess Im kinda wanting to video, but games inside a cement and studded room isnt too exciting. Didnt want to submit a unfinished arcade vid, but I have trouble waiting! :D

My games are all in my unfinished basement (for now), and all my vids turn out just fine.

But in all seriousness, why ask? Just do both :)
