Holy cow this must have been the lengthiest, pain-in-the-ass'iest DK I've ever repaired. But alas.. I was victorious in the end once again.
;)

Enjoy!
(p.s. Some outtakes at the end)

Adam, These videos are GREAT. A wealth of info and total geek entertainment!

Thanks for the kind words. ;)
Also I welcome your feedback. Sometimes I think I'm going over things too fast. A lot of times I'm working on these boards during lunch breaks or when I have a few spare mins and I feel like I have to rush though the video part.

Finally got a chance to watch it...nice that it shows what happens sometimes...that stuff happens while your working on a pcb...that sometimes it takes waiting and looking for the smallest nuances. Yeah some are easy repairs and yet others are not!

Love the video! Hey what were the counter ic's at 1n and 1m? The pdf schematic says ls123 but that isnt a real part number that I can tell of.

No problem. The first time i saw the 74 being left off chips I was like WTF are all these oddball chips? ;)

Thanks for fixing my board. Sorry it was so hellishly difficult. That board is my nemesis. Nice to have the DK up and running again!
