Video of Trons being factory assembled!

thanks for sharing great vid.....I think i'll have to save that link. Wish I could save the actual vid to always have, I have seen so many of these types over the years I wish I could have saved for myself...LOL

A couple of minutes inwhen they had a screen shot of tron it looked it the high score was 7 digits . (which it is not, in it's present state)

Chainsaws and Toasters...I'd like to play that.
Was the game ever put into development? Or was it just a concept?

Great video, there has to be more factory footage like this out there somewhere. Neat to see all those new Alpine Ski cabs lined up.

On the far left end is a Solar Quest.

On the right side, I'm not sure, but it's a Cinematronics cabinet. The artwork looks like a Warrior game to me.

Tom

Isn't it a Tailgunner?

They showed a guy playing what appears to be Turbo, but I think they called it something else.

Cool video nonetheless.

I recorded this news video when I was around 7 years old in 1982 That's why there are so many bad edits lol. I'm glad everyone liked the video. I still need to dig out more video tapes that I recorded back in that era induing a PAC-man special from PM Magazine, video games on Eye On LA, Phil Donahue on the problems with video games, a special called Battle Of The Video Games (this video shows Burgertime's being assembled), and a few more. All of these were recoded in the early 80's and are not available anywhere including YouTube. I should start digging soon!

Awesome another collector born in 1975! Awesome video!

Seeing that factory was great. Also I can't believe the market size they were talking about in billions of dollars.

I think it was 1982 that the video game industry did over 2 billion in revenue while the movie industry was in the 600 million range.

I may have my numbers totally wrong but I know that it was a HUGE gap from one to the other.
