Video of my home game room - Syzygy Arcade

Thanks. Nothing wrong with being a bit geeky with this kind of video, it makes them far more interesting than the ambient noise in the room picked up by a tinny, small mic.

My wife's response, after watching the video, was, "Oh my God! You are such a geek!" Good thing I've already got signed papers on her. :)

Haha! That's awesome. Nice work. Must be great to finally have it done and now relax and enjoy!

Also, amusingly, I just finished watching Tron Legacy, and when your video started I wondered why the music sounded so familiar... then I heard the voice. hehe.

Thanks for the nice comments. The game lineup is:

California Speed
Galaga
Midway Multigame
Mr. & Mrs. Pac-Man Pinball
Williams Multigame
Police Trainer
S.T.U.N. Runner
Space Ace '91
Star Wars / The Empire Strikes Back Multigame
Star Wars Episode 1 Pinball
Super Strike
Tron

Filmed in 720p HD with a Kodak Zi6, and edited in iMovie '11.

Maybe this weekend, I'll upload a video of my previous game room. It was only 110sf and still sits behind The Syz. That vid is from 2003. I found it again recently, and it's need to see the progression of things over time.

Nice game room. I can't believe you would mix sheer awesomeness with the POS Midway Arcade classics machine sold at Target/Walmart/BeBaBey etc.

You know, I bought that Midway game at an auction around five years ago. It was around $125 or so at auction when they were $499 new, IIRC. It served its purpose until I could build a better Williams Multigame. I've thought of selling it cheap, but I'm not sure there's much of a market for it.

The emulation of the games is quite good. It's the quality of the cabinet that sucks. That, and the crummy controls.

those ports/the board is done by Clay Cowgill so it's going to play good. It's the graphics that aren't original or took a dump. Dunno why it ended up that way.

Was thinking the same thing, but great game room none the less. Would like to have a Police Trainer cab some day. Great skill shooting game.
