Video of my dedicated Bank Panic

I had one a few years ago, really nice machine, but I never got into the game play, although it is unique. I have seen a couple boardsets over the years but only one dedicated Bank Panic.

I wound up donating mine to Funspot a couple years ago along with some other obscure games, where I believe it now resides.

I had a Bank Panic pcb from an operators stash, sold it early this year. I've seen a couple other dedicated BP's but they are few and far. The cabinet design is certainly reminiscent of Tapper and Zwackery. The concept is cute but I could never see owning one. Glad you hear you got the game you wanted fatherpain.

The real question....will BP make CAX2012?

No worries, I'll be sure to send the Bank Panic NOS cpo in for scanning and color matching before its applied. The reasons being twofold...to make it possibly available for a repro down the road, if there is enough interest and to serve as insurance, in case I fubar the application :D

Nice score. This is one of the only four games I'd like to own. My buddy Jim introduced me to this back in the mid 80's. We'd play the heck out of it @ Castle Park in Riverside, CA. I remember if I only had one token left, it was time to play BP for half an hour then go home. It was still there, upstairs, as of a decade ago (last time I was there), much to my wife's dismay... 'Can we go home now?'

One was up for sale in So Cal a few months back. It was on CL for months, but I never had the extra $$. When I got some, I emailed the guy, got some pics and the next day he said it was sold. I think it was a dedicated cab.

Heheh the bigger question is whether this will be the year I finally make my way up there for the fun and festivities. July is always a crappy month for me due to work and family committments. I hadn't considered it til ya mentioned it, but if I go and get help with transportation, mebbe I could bring Bank Panic along with Afterburner Deluxe :D
