Apologies if this is in the wrong category, wasn't at all sure which it should go into but general video games seemed most fitting.
I'm wondering if the older keno (and poker, since I believe they're close to the same hardware) machines have any value or following as they are. I've never really seen too many of them or heard of anyone having much of a passion for the things, but I picked one up with my Mr. Do for $50 for the pair and now I'm trying to figure out what to do with the keno.
It's a 1983 vintage IGT FA411 and seems to be pretty much all there, and plays blind. The cabinet is in good shape and a neat size, so I'm considering tossing a JAMMA harness I have lying around in there and turning it into something I'd actually use. That said, I don't want to rip it apart if there are a bunch of people who love these things and I've just never run into them. So... Are vintage gambling video games a cult classic worth saving or best consigned to the dustbin of history?
