Video Arcade

Where in North Carolina? If you are willing to drive the distance of the state you should consider crossing over into Virginia and visiting Virginia Beach. Flipper McCoy's is a great arcade full of classics and a few pins as well as modern drivers. They even have a shooting gallery.

^ Anyone know how Asheville Arcade is doing or if the owner is a member here? I became their friend on Facebook and they seem to have a good thing going there...lots of drink/food specials and whatnot.

Anyone know a nice video arcade place to visit in north carolina

Bump! Also, Stealth Dummy, you might want to change the title of this thread to something like "Arcades in NC?" so people would know what you're asking before they click on the actual thread.

PS I know it's not exactly what you asked, but Fullsteam Brewery in Durham has a lot of pins.

I'm their volunteer tech at the moment. They are doing good! on the weekends there are 400+ people in there with a line around the block.

The old games are seeing a lot of action though and they could really use a full time tech, IMO. I can't keep up with all the day-to-day upkeep. I've been out there about 10 times over the last month and brought about 10-15 games back from the grave. Are you in Asheville? Would you have any interest in doing some repairs on some machines?

^ I'm in Nashville and don't have any tech experience, but I would love to come over to Asheville and visit the arcade sometime. Good to hear business is booming! I wonder how much the games are bringing in on a weekly basis.

So, basically they're covering expenses from food/drinks? Is there a door charge?
