VHS VIDEO VENDOR MACHINES 1984

I would hope it would be a conversation piece! Imagine it taking up your entire wall and no one asks about it!
 
That's probably the way to go. Sounds like it would be a big job to get it up and running, sounds like even the one you restored has problems.
Intersting find though, It would probably be an intersting conversation piece at least.
I need to replace all of the opto ICs -- not just the two I fixed when shooting the video. That is easy. The hard part is just the loading of the data. I'd rather do other stuff than spend 40 hours preparing 320 cassettes for a home rental experience. I do have a DVDNow vending machine (a competitor to Red Box) that I'm working with another guy on setting up for extremely easy home rental experiences, however. Timing of technology is everything.
