very stupid question time

I'm sorry for being SO stupid, but what are the red, green and blue things in this picture?

I was hoping that there is a cut off section for colors on my nanao that I am missing. I only see three adjusters for colors.... aren't there normally two per color (cut off/gain)?

I think on the Nanaos they only have the 1 set of RGB adjustments. it's been about a year since I opened mine up.

I don't know about on your uprights, but on the sitdown twins they put the remote boards in the most BULLSHIT spot ... you have to remove that heavy control panel to get at them. someday I should reverse the mounts on mine so I can at least adjust them from behind. lol

I am officially the dumbest man on the boards. Don't try to compete with my stupidity. Those were the cut offs, I believe. I adjusted them, and now both monitors look amazing. I'm very anal retentive (just ask Cadillacman) and I can NOT tell the difference between these two monitors I have now. They look identical... and this is after me staring at them for many minutes. I'm a happy idiot, now!

glad to hear theyre both still up and running steve! and linked!! how is that possible on uprights :D

like i said when you were talking about getting new monitors: "once dialed in, nanaos have a beautiful picture"

I don't get why Nanaos get crap?! My one I had on a Neo Geo candy was incredible. I have one on my Virtua Fighter 4 FT rigth now, and that is also amazing (maybe my best monitor in my room). Now these... and they freakin' smoke! I don't get all the hate.

You gotta come over soon, Mike. Now that I've got everything done: new steering wheels, fixed play in the steering with new hubs and keys, new pots, new molding, fixed monitor colors, made so player 2 stick shift is biased towards 3/4 gears instead of 1/2, new coin rejects, new bulbs, and let's not forget cleaning them up from head to toe.
