I have that exact monitor in a 1974 Mirco Challenge/4Player pong. Believe its original....

Wish you were closer! Would take it for parts. Its missing a long plastic adjustment knob that hangs out of the empty hole on chassis frame.

Isn't that what was in Football?

I know there isn't too many of these around. In fact I don't ever remember seeing a 23" one.

Dave

Well they had made a 22" & 23" b&w monitor. There were a few games they were in, but very uncommon. Unfortunately my upright warlords tube is shot =/

I gave my 23" black and white away for the atari pinball restoration, he just covered the shipping. There aren't many but you need a specific buyer and then its usually across the country. If you have a local interested, pass it along.

Is this not a 23" model ? The model # on tha tag is XM701, and the other # has 23 in it. That seems to indicate this is a 23" monitor. Unless someone married a 23" chassis to a 19" tube....

Has the OP measured the screen ?

If this was a 19", I might be in the bidding, as I have a sad Space Invaders cab I'd like to bring back, even if just as a player (and not a looker). But I obtained it mostly bare... and while I have a board, I don't have a monitor (without pulling one from a cocktail which is working, so I hate to pull that).

For any of those looking for a 23" though, if that has never been messed with, this looks like a 23" monitor, and if you need it, better be a bidder.... I've not even seen a 23" B&W for sale before (not that I've ever looked for one).

I certainly need at least the chassis (assuming its the XM701 for the 23"), but in its non-functional state I don't want to risk it. I have a SteepleChase I am restoring which has a tube but no chassis. This is certainly the closest thing I have seen in 6 months.

I'm no expert. It doesn't look like a 19" to me. Pictures I based that on below. The monitor in the pictures is definitely not a 19". Its hard to tell by the pictures but thats a 33" wide cab making the monitor seem smaller.

Chassis number - 23VP111A Q05
Model number - XM701-10
Tube number - 22VATP4 + EIA-312
The tube is stamped 23 also.

Sorry I'm late to the party and I hope the sale goes well.

That sucks. This dropped of my radar because I asked the seller if it was 19" or 23" and he said 19"

It sold for $152
