I just bought my first pin, a DE Rocky and Bullwinkle. I am very happy with it but now that I have it, I am trying to fix every little thing that is wrong with it.

There is a single vertical line that starts at the bottom of the screen and goes about halfway up. It happens a little to the left of the center of the display. The rest of the display seems to operate just fine.

Is there anything I should check to possibly correct this or am I most likely going to have to replace the DMD?

Try reseating the DMD cable on the dot matrix board.Turn the machine off first-Mike

A missing line/s is usually indicative of a broken trace on the DMD itself. Pull the DMD and inspect the edges. I would assume you'll see a broken trace from the DMD power board to the DMD itself.
