Hello,
I don't know if this is a problem or if this is typical for these monitors. My Galaga cocktail game with a G07 chassis has a vertical deflection problem when it first powers up. The top of the monitor, which would be the right side, is compressed about 3/4 inch. After about 5min of warm up, the problem goes away. I can adjust the monitor for a smaller screen and would not see the problem at startup but I'm trying to get as large of a screen as possible.

I've done a cap kit, replaced X401 and X402, reflowed solder on most of the 400 devices. Checked the resistance and capacitance on most of the 400 circuits. B+ is at 120V. The next thing I was planning on doing was replacing the IC501 but I don't know if that will help.

on power up and you have foldover, place a hair dryer and heat up the ic 501 and see if foldover goes away faster. if so, replace, if not heat up other area in verticle output section and test again. All this needs to be done fast before chassis heats up.

Heated up IC501 before starting and the foldover went away. Since the hair dryer heated up a large section of parts, I also tried cooling down just the IC with a can of air and the fold over came back. I'll order the part from Bob Roberts and hopefully it will fix it. Thanks.
