I have a K7000 25" monitor with a Zenith tube. The flyback seems to be going south based on the symptoms in the other threads.

I have replaced the caps and reflowed the solder joints on the flyback and it was working fine. A couple days ago, it started to bloom and get fuzzy near the edges, then this morning it wouldn't come on at first. When it did, the colors were really dark and really fuzzy and adjusting the screen and focus didn't help much. Based on the other threads, that sounds like the flyback.

The board has P538 stenciled on it.
The flyback has TLF09-04 on the front and 19-02-L on the top.

It has the remote controls, if that matters.

Most of the stickers have fallen off (suprise suprise), but I have gotten the following numbers off of the chassis and I just want to verify that the k7000 flybacks (053x0528-001) they are selling on eBay will work.

Thanks.

Sorry. I didn't know about your site. It is now sitting in my favorites links.

I was so pissed off about it, I just went out to America's Garage Sale out of habit.
It is good to know somebody else carries them. I have a Maximum force that needs capping & I think that is a K7000 as well.

I've gotten them from both Happ and Bob Roberts. both varieties have worked sufficiently. Bob you get the better deal though cause he throws in the cap kit too. I think you can get a kit with the fuse and HOT too? been over a year now and I'm very far removed from monitor repair mentally at the moment.

Ken, I'm the ebay seller. If you need any other flybacks just send me a message. I can do better prices off ebay. They hit me for 12% of the total sale + paypal fees.

Thanks. That's good to know. As I said before I didn't bother to do any research I just went out and bought one. So it is my bad if I overpaid.
