A friend of mine just bought a new facility and offered me a spot in it to put arcade games, whether I want to use it as a small arcade, a showroom to sell games, or a combination of both. I've never really considered doing this, but this seems like a pretty good opportunity to take advantage of. I realize I'm not going to quit my day job over it, but its a chance to make a few extra bucks. I'm in NJ. For something like this, would I need a vending license or any type of permits or would his facility be responsible for anything extra? The space will allow for probably 10-12 games running. He will be running a sports center.

Thanks.. I'll give them a call. On that list, they also have vending as a different department. Wasn't sure if arcades would fall under that instead since there are no winnings really. I wasn't planning on redemption type games.

I'm going to suggest what LTG always suggests. Buy insurance. Your OWN insurance, don't depend on any location's insurance. This is for your own good.
