So I am going to Michigan for a class reunion and going to use this opportunity to pick up a machine. Time is a factor so renting a van here(Philly) isn't an option. We are flying in and planning on renting a Trailblazer. Will a Trailblazer hold a standard cab? I'm sure it will just not sure of how the seats go down as I will be unable to remove them. THanks for any input or suggestions.

I have hauled a Hang-On in an Equinox, which I think is similar in size to the Trailblazer. It fit, but the passenger seat had to be pushed all the way forward. I don't think my girlfriend will let me haul another one when she is in the car. I couldn't have even fit in the passenger seat that far forward.

I had a Space Invaders hanging out the ass end of an 85 Camaro. Folded down the back seat, opened the hatch, and popped that sucker in. Fit great. Went in deep enough where there was no worries of it coming out during a stop.
Serious shit.

Be advised that many of the rental places cable tie the seats so that you can not use them to haul huge @ss stuff in their vehicles.

Be aware that you probably won't get the vehicle you saw in the ad. If you read the fine print it says "or equivalent". Their idea of equivalent can be very different than yours. In the last two years I have probably rented 20 vehicles or so and gotten what I asked for about....(wait for it)...Zero times. That includes getting a Mustang when I rented and Impala (I was going to see the family and was expecting to be hauling people, fortunately I didn't have to). I rented a 4WD Trailblazer in MN last winter and got some lame ass rear wheel drive mini van. I went back and made them switch it to whatever the Pontiac 4WD SUV was (I was driving into the middle of WI and there was a 50% chance of a blizzard that weekend). So before you pin all your hopes on getting something into a specific vehicle make damn sure you know what you are getting.
