I sold my home built Gauntlet Legends showcase cabinet, and got a call that when they put it back together it wouldn't work.

Somehow one of the surface mounted chips on the upper board fried. I'm talking melted tracks and a blown out center. I think they may have plugged the remote monitor adjustment board wires into the game board.

I need to get a replacement top board for the Vegas 3 board set. I've got my fingers crossed that the other 2 boards are OK, as well as the monitor. I'll have to go back next week with my Dreamcast/VGA adapter/Happ Universal Video Converter setup to test the medium res monitor.

If anyone has a Vegas top board or even a whole set, please let me know what you're asking for it so I can let them know.

I can't help you but the above statement intrigues me. Are you saying you can somehow use the Dreamcast VGA adapter to test med res monitors? Do tell!

What do you mean by 'upper board'?

There are 3 boards that are plugged together -- and flat.

Which board do you mean?

The Happ Universal Video Converter takes VGA in and lets you choose standard or medium res out. I hooked it up to my Dreamcast with its VGA adapter, and the picture looked awsome on the 38" Neotec medium res. I then tried it with my PC, but it didn't want to sync at all resolutions. I think 800x600 was not working right.

I then sold the cabinet, but kept the converter since I couldn't get the PC part fully working. Of course I only messed with it for about half an hour. I got mine used a couple years ago and only just tried it out. I'm not sure Happ even makes it anymore.

I need the board with the JAMMA connector on it. Sorry about the 'top' comment. I have it mounted vertically in the cabinet I made/sold.

OK, that makes more sense. They are mounted horizontally in standard GL cabs.

Unfortunately that's the one board that I don't have an easy replacement for.

Oh -- scratch that. I know where you can get one but it's pricey.

I have an extra Gauntlet Legends "kit". All three boards and the hard drive. Let me know if you still need it.

i have the two boards, no vga board or hard drive, so i cant test the two boards that i have

75.00 shipped for the two boards
