Just curious about something. I hardly see anyone looking for parts or even selling them for ANY vector games.

Who here doesn't have ANY vector games and doesn't want any either? And why is that? Just don't like them, scared of them, the cost? What's the deal?

I've been hesitant just because of cost of upkeep. Though given the chance I'd jump into the pool for a Tempest, Lunar Lander, SW, Black Widow etc.

I have a space duel and a tempest.
I need to recap the deflection board on the space duel and install the low voltage unit and I will be good.

Space duel I will keep the tempest I am not so sure.

I have Battlezone and Asteroids Deluxe. I rebuilt both monitors, and they both work beautifully. I would love to have a Star Castle and a Tempest. I was afraid of getting a
Tempest because of the monitor problems people have, but then I found the website below, and now I can't wait to get a Tempest. I was thinking about offering up my battlezone for trade for a Tempest.

Ink has been trying to sell some nice vector gear on here. The NOS WG6100 deflection and neck boards were pretty.... The crap thread probably scared him away. :)

Yeah, Ink (Troy) is local to me here. He used to have one of the BEST vector collections in the world. He was never one to brag about his collection though, so most people never knew about it. I about shit my pants when I walked into his garage. I would put him right up there with the best vectors guys as far as knowlegde goes. He has since sold off most of it though. :(

I do not own a vector and likely will not either. These games never impressed me back in the day for some reason so i never bonded with them. I would still prolly pick up a SW, but mostly because I love the movies.

Coming from a guy who WANTS an Arkaniod so much that he puts it in his sig, that explains alot! :D

I love my Vectors. Plan on getting more, too. I grew up in arcades in the early 80's so they are as important as any other type of game to me. Love them.

I have:

Asteroids
Star Wars
Space Duel
Tempest

I just fixed the Tempest monitor the other day. I sold off the Amplifone monitor with a Wintron out of the Star Wars. I had a terrible blooming issue that I couldn't fix for a 6100 I picked up from local klover EVB.

I would love a Black Widow.

I have Space Duel, Tempest, and Asteroids Deluxe. My vector collection is a little lacking still. I don't need most of them, but Star Castle will be mine! :)

I currently have a Star Wars and a beautiful Irish Asteroids Deluxe. I did have an Asteroids with an 801 and the owl eye coindoor, but I sold it. I miss it. I would prolly pick up a Tempest or a a MH conversion if I saw one.

I have 2x Asteroids (UR and cocktail) and Asteroids Deluxe. Wouldn't mind something else down the road but until I get more room and/or more money....

I love vectors! I only own 1, Star Wars but I love to own a Space Duel, Star Castle, and still looking for a Armor Attack; my brother and I played the hell out that at Zayre's in our youth......

The ones who own them keep parts around but the games run so reliably they will probably never need to parts.

The ones who do not own them were scared off by the ones who own them so they can keep hoarding their parts for their supposedly "unreliable" vector games.

I have Asteroids, Asteroids Deluxe, Space Duel, Tempest, and Battlezone. I love em. I'm very lucky, I have a good friend who is an expert tech...

I have an Asteroids, Tempest with WG6100 and a SW with an Amp... I used to have an Asteroids Deluxe that I miss terribly. Vectors rock.
