Vectorbeam Warrior eBay

Well an announcement like that should slow the bidding on this one. With three more coming this will be interesting to watch.

Before a pissing match gets started let me clarify something. If people would do a simple search they would see 2 of the 3 games are already listed.
All that I was interested in doing is stating the fact that I had seen a cool looking game that I have never seen before and seller has 3 of them.
They will sell for what they sell for regardless of 1 or 3.

I would not worry about people hijacking this thread. The thread was not started by the seller. If it was started by the seller, I would be in total agreement...

I would be more worried about the 2 people who hijacked the auction itself. Come one really... Who the fuck bids like that?? Guy with 13 ebay feedbacks and 2 bid retractions runs the bid up from $873 to $2,177.77. with 5 days left on the auction?? Only to be followed by a ebay bidder that has 10 ebay feedbacks and 1 bid retraction to makes 10 bids, and runs it up to $2202.77. Watch for some bid retractions soon:rolleyes:

Over a 3rd of the bids coming from ebay bidders with total combined feedback of 23 with 3 bid retractions in the last 6 months. with 5 days left on the aucton Really???

Think im going to save my money:eek:

I think I see an Eliminator marquee above the warrior to the right. I wonder what other rare stuff this guy has in there.

Cool looking game, but gameplay leaves a lot to be desired. There used to be one of these in my local arcades and I always went over and looked at it, but quickly got bored by the gameplay. I did enjoy playing it for the first time in 20+ years while over at Todd's a while back though.

$2400 and it's not working? That's nucking futs IMO. But it's a very rare grail, and it's a vector, so it's got 2 of the 3 things I like for my collection :) (3rd would be good gameplay)

Must have been scam bids. It shall return.

I think there was a version of this on the Atari VCS.

I don't recall ever seeing this game in the arcades back in the day.

I offered $2700 cash before it went to auction, after tons of emails, Pms, and phone conversation before the auction started. Figured I would be into it somewhere around $3200-$3500 after shipping and repairs. Seller said his wife wanted him to ebay it. I was told it would go on ebay and that whatever it sold for is what the price would be.. Seller told me it was like a poker game and that I might even get it cheaper than my offer. Auction even stated that it would not be ended early... Talked to the seller after the auction was pulled. He said he had a offer that he could not refuse. Dont know what the offer was, I did not get a chance to counter offer.. Big waste of time..

When money is involved all bets are off.

I bet it was someone from here with deep pockets that got it. Just take a look at the list of people who wanted one of these on the VAPS listing...

Wow, I really should have asked more for mine then.

No kidding, what much was yours sold for since you brought it up? ;)

I traded it for a pretty nice upright Star Wars + a USB kit + cash....don't remember exactly how much cash but I want to say $700. This was several years ago now though. It was complete and working but the monitor needed a bit of work and it needed to be restored. But it had all the art and it was solid.
