If someone out there has done a large package deal with Baz (including some items not advertised above), please pm me as there are a variety of things that you need to know that have come out in the last 2 days...
mclemore's PM box is full, which isn't a surprise. he has to get bombarded with questions...
post the issue, whatever it may be shouldn't be kept hidden with PMs.
everyone is local to someone you know. for anything rare like this, i wouldn't trust NAVL to say the least.
I have personally called him when this post was first listed and have a pending sale going for the 2 black widows , skull and crossbones, shuuz and armor attack. Everything seems to be going fine with my deal and i have talked to him several times throghout the week and have recieved several emails with extra pictures of the stuff im buying. Cant get any more of a legit seller than this in my opinion. I dont know anything else about the other items or pending deals that he may have , ive never inquired about them.
Well, im not too worried about it. If it works out then great, if not, oh well. He did say my offers were much more realistic than others.
I replied to his post on rgvac and he said I was the first to call him and had first crack at whatever I wanted. He said he needed to get the games out of storage, email pics and call me. I stayed on him for about 3 weeks and pics surfaced with multiple phone calls. He wouldnt gimme a price, kept telling me to make an offer. I offered $10k for 4 games and he accepted. I emailed him the date I would be making the 14 hour trip to pick up the games. He was trying to sell me a bunch of others games and parts and I said I'd come with a wallet full of cash to buy more and a trailer to fit more games.
Then word circulates back to me that he is offering the games to other people. I called him about it and he denied it, said we still had a deal. Then when I tried to reconfirm with him my dates and he didnt reply. Then I found him posting these games for sale here. I emailed him about it and he said he did indeed get an offer more than mine and he was sorry.
Thats a problem right there, but the bigger problem is that he never gave me a chance to match the offer and knew one of the games I wanted very badly. Keep in mind he never gave a price, he kept asking for offers.
I sent him an email reminding him of the story he told me when Brendan Ziedler screwed him on a laser game and was devastated about it. Still bothers him to this day, yet it seems he is doing the same thing to several people out there.
I believe in Karma and one day he will get a healthy dose. I will admit this is the first time a Brit has ever done me wrong.
ROFL... This whole situation is quite comical. I have been burned many times trying to sell stuff when people say that they want it, and they never show up, but the first guy with the money in my hand is the guy who gets the goods. If you dont put a deposit down on something or pay for it all at once, "word of mouth" runs only so far. It sucks to loose some elite collectible items to someone else, but its all part of the game. If you want something badass offer a shit load of money for it you generally will get it. If you are trying to lowball someone and nit pick at the price, the guy will probably jump at the best offer especially when he gets money in his account.
So you're saying it's ok for a seller to make a deal with someone then continue to shop around for more money? What if you're a buyer and make a commitment to buy from someone, is it ok to make the seller hold the item while you shop around for a cheaper game then bail on them? You must love craigslist.
Its not really like that. Its the fact that some of you guys have not actually paid for something or have deposited money or showed up with cash in hand and then had the seller turn around and sell it underneath you. I was just trying to imply money talks and bullshit walks. I actually do like craigslist because most people dont know what they have and sell it for cheap unlike pooka who knows what shits worth and just doesnt jump at the first 50 lowball offers.
