Vector Labs Nintendo Switcher problem - Player 2 button not working

I have a DK cab with DK, jr, & 3 in it and I purchased a Vector Labs Nintendo Switcher from a fellow Klov'r. I have it set up as DK as the first game, then Jr, then 3. I went to install and the DK game turns on, all the power lights are lighting up on the switcher and each game switcher, but the Player 2 button no longer works. It needs the Player 2 button and Jump buttons to switch from game to game. I went ahead and unplugged the switcher and went back to my normal set up and the player 2 button works as normal. Then I set up the Switcher again and same problem, Player 2 button not working, no switching. I have been pulling my hair out for 3 hours checking buttons, connections, etc and am coming up with nothing.

Here are some pics of the set up. If anyone notices anyone, please hollar. Otherwise, I'm going to contact Vector Labs or see if I can get my $ back. Please help if you have any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

For your normal setup that works, are you plugging in the edge and pin connectors directly into the DK stack, or are you still using the MikesArcade edge/pin connector adapter? If it works when you are NOT using the adapter, I would check that the P2 button signal is getting passed from the harness edge connector through the MikesArcade adapter to the VL switcher. If it is, then the problem is with the VL switcher board, if not then it's the MikesArcade board.

Remove your cable from position 1. It starts there and then moves down the line. Does player 2 not work for all games, or just one.

I don't know if it will work for all of the games, because the player 2 button does not work when all of the vector lab switches are plugged in. If all of the vector lab switches are not plugged in, the games work as normal and all buttons work as normal as well.

You appear to be missing some cables?

No, that pin to edge connector transfers all signals where needed. The rainbow cable is also needed in this situation.

So I should get all individual cables needed from Mike and get rid of the "complete harness"?

Wherever connector P5 is, it needs to go on that adapter.
