It started with a little tempest on the weekends. Before long I'd graduated to black widow and space duel. Now I'm playing gravitar every night just to take the edge off--damn, just one more game and I know I can beat that red planet! I hardly hang out with my friends Qbert and Donkey Kong anymore. Needles to say, I've got the Vector Monkey on my back real bad. If only I had realized then that tempest was a gateway game....

Why do you think it shows you moving THROUGH one level into the next one?? It's a portal dude. Just think Stargate (the movie, not the lame Defender sequel) :D

Last night was the first night I did not play Tempest since I got her back up and running. Not playing the game felt like I was doing something wrong!

GRAVITAR is the BOMB!

You can do the red planet- keep at it.
Doing it on the 2nd screen is crazy though- bunkers in addition to the time ticking...

Thanks, Kerry--for the encouragement and for the SD adaptor. Grav is definitely challenging--and fun!

It sounds like you should be called Vectorchronic. :)

I hadnt really thought about it before...but I do believe I play my vectors more than the rest...great games is all I think...considering Eliminator and StarTrek are in the mix....

I used to give handjobs on the street for Gravitar, but years of counseling and lots of Nintendorphine straightened me out.

It first started with Omega Race, then Armor Attack, shortly followed by Asteroids Deluxe, then Star Castle, followed by Tempest...some really hard stuff...color vectors, finally by Red Baron. The only cure is to never start. I think it's the vector shimmer that really gets me, nothing like it. They say it's best to talk about addictions with the group, so here I am!
