Vaps

Kind of off subject, can you still supply pics for the IAM regarding games? I use to get an error message, now I'm getting this

"June 18, 2010. The new game entry submission is offline while we continue to process pending submissions and change some aspects of our submission form.

It is estimated this page will return online in about 1 week."

Besides that, maybe I should go collect my serial #'s while my collection is still small, lol.

Thats weird. When I clicked the link to your VAPS account it came up with a blank page with the words "Invalid member_id, exiting."

A few people come up with that..

Sometimes, the upper board gets cracked down the middle. This is especially the case if someone tried to roll it around on a dolly without a backboard. I've had a few cabs with cracked upped boards.

On topic: I posted all the serial numbers that I could find on my boards. I also store my boards in usps boxes, and label each box with serial number, game title, and manufacturer if I can find that information. Sometimes, I can't find a serial on the board. Also, my williams games didn't have serial numbers on the wood parts of the cabs, so I took the serial numbers off the monitor bracket stickers. I figured those were the most likely parts to be original to the cabs.

Mine is cracked.. The particle board is brittle too. So need to replace the back door and the board above it on my AD.

Wow you have 111 boards that's nuts I guess its better that having 111 full sized games laying around

Yeah,he gets boards all the time.Everytime I see a new post the board number has changed.I have a tenth of that amount and yet it's hard for me to find room for them all.Couldn't imagine 100+ boards.I'm still wondering if he won the 1943 board and CP that cointech was selling on ebay a while back.I did put a few bids in on those.

I could care less about the serial numbers.I'd rather they spend the time instead to update the klov database with all those pending submissions that everyone has uploaded. There is so much that needs to be corrected and updated it's ridiculous.

Lazy here as well. I don't rate, I don't record serial #'s., I don't list PCB's unless they are for sale.
I do put all my games in there.

Yea, I've noticed that also in the past few days. But if I click on someone else and then go to my account, everything's there. Guess I'm just not that important to the KLOV Nebraska clan :( Probably caused by some IAM software change along the lines, who knows.

I didn't know I was attracting so much attention

No. I already have a 1943 that I bought a few years ago. No need to have another.

Those modular shelving units from just about any hardware store work wonders for storage of boards. ;)
