Value of Ghostbusters machine?

because of some cross-genre interest and the popularity of the Ghostbusters franchise, i'd say $200-$300 dedicated in ok condition, $300-$500 if nice to very nice.

When I've seen them come up for sale people usually want $500+ is it worth that? Even as a huge Ghostbusters, Akroyd, and Murray fan, I don't think so. I looked for one of these off and on for a while, didn't really go after it because I wanted to find a deal. If you can find one in the $200-$400 range I'd go for it.

I always like to price jamma multi-player games with this rule:

$100 per player.

Meaning a good 3-player beat-em up should go for $300 (unless it's a real shitty title or beat to hell), and 4-player beat 'em ups going for near $400.

The fact that it is Ghostbusters, does make the game worth more. This game has some cross-marketing going on, because you get the arcade buyers and BIG ghostbuster fans. I'm sure a lot of us on here are Ghostbuster fans and wouldn't mind having the game just to have it. :) I could put my Dan Akroyd signed vodka on top of it.

The more I think about it, as long as you pay $400 or less, I'm sure you could get most of your money back.

There's a guy on Ebay that's had his GB on ebay for probably a year or more now, not moving at $600.

ghostbusters is fun, and most of the value is in the board. if it's a conversion working well i'd price it at $250, and if it's dedicated maybe $400.
