the dude i got my other games from has a working neo geo. Its a one slot in a non dedicated dynamo looking cut corner cab. Looks like a 19 inch monitor too (pfftt)

anyways whats she worth?(boardset wise) neo is a foriegn concept to me but sounds cool. Im thinking with a multicart and a real monitor mabye it could be something cool.

it comes with three carts. cannot remember them off the top of my head i want to say duke nukem and two others..

$250 might be a little steep for a 19" cab.
But it's definitely in the $200 range.
1 slot boards are running around $60 on EBay on average.
The dynamo cabinet is likely worth $125 without a board.
Carts go from $10 and up depending on what they are.

I got a dedicated Neo Geo 1 slot 25" from DJ DNS for $275
It has the stereo sound and the LED coin counters to boot.
I personally think he gave me a hell of a deal on that though.

As far as information on them, check this site:
http://www.hardmvs.com/

What board version does it have?
My personal favorite is the MV-1F which is what I have (I've had 3 versions).
The 1F has Stereo sound which is a rarity among the 1 slots.
MVS is the arcade system Vs AES which is the home console.
All MVS carts are the same for 1 slot through 6 slot. I think you can get an adaptor to play them on an AES. I don't think you can, or have reason, to use AES carts on an MVS system.

Finally, there are a variety of multi carts out there.
The 138-in-1 adds a menu to the mix which you might take a look at YouTube to make sure you like it. Has some issues IMO. Otherwise the rest just use a text only list, of those, don't go above the 120-in-1 unless you like fighters, then get the 150-in-1.
I'm still hoping someone makes a cart with NO fighters for once as I would buy that in a heartbeat. BTW Nixs does sell these.

All said, the NeoGeo is one of the most played machines in my game room by the kids next to the crane!!!
