So, I have the opportunity to purchase a Dead Angle dedicated arcade machine and I was wondering if anyone has played it and what its worth? Anyone like the game? Your valued feedback is greatly appreciated.

I love Empire City: 1931, which is similar to Dead Angle, but think the gameplay of EC is better than DA.

Empire City = fire button + dodge button
Dead Angle = fire button + grenade button

I own both boards, but usually just play Empire City of the two.

I can't seem to find any evidence that a dedicated unit was ever made. They did seem to have a kit dedicated to a dynamo 25" cab.

If its a dynamo in nice shape it should be worth just about the same as any SIMULAR game so about $150-$200. Rotate the monitor and you have a great 60-in-1 cab

read the description of the game "There are 12 known instances of Dead Angle owned by one of our 900 members. Of these, It is an original dedicated machine (not another machine converted with a kit)."

All that means is that one person who has it doesn't know what a "dedicated cabinet" is. Like dmbj posted there isn't a dedicated cabinet for Dead Angle, it was a kit only game.

estimated value of dedicated game in average condition?

$75 - $125. It's a C list tile at best. Add that it was kit only, so it doesn't matter what cab it's in, and you have a game that sells for very little, even working.

That's good news if you like the game and are buying, though.

I played enough Empire 1931 to know that I wouldn't want to own one, but that's just my opinion. I liked it because play times seemed longer than other games, and I was a broke college student. The mediocre play, however, was enough to make me stop playing it, after about 2 weeks or so.
