V2000 linearity setup proceedure

Indeed. Don't. ;)

No seriously that's an interesting question. I have been lucky so far with great linearity on the (admittedly few) B/W vectors I worked on...

Had to replace a broken control, so adjustment needed - currently I have it set so that the screen fits, but not sure that is correct and if it will cause a problem.

Well linearity will hardly cause a problem I guess, it's just a matter of everything being "straight".

Did you try the diamonds screen ? It should look like all equal sized diamonds...since it's only one pot it shouldn't be that hard to get it OK, just don't touch the others I guess...

Problem is, the "linearity" pots also change the image size. So you have to fiddle with both the linearity pot, and a size pot (either on the monitor or game PCB, depending on the monitor and game PCB).
