Alright so my asteroids is working, I flipped the test switch and the monitor is way off, it is crooked on the top and a little on the bottom, not as much, the top slants about a half inch it seems and it looks horrible when playing. I dont know what to adjust so based on this pic, what exactly will help me here??

Ok, so this problems the image is rotated. That is adjusted by rotating the yoke.

The big white donut type thing is what you need to adjust. Loosen the screw a bit and, with the crosshatch pattern on screen, rotate it. The image on screen will rotate with it, so aim for e best compromise of straightness on all four sides. This is easiest if the height/width of the crosshatch is close to the edge of the screen. Don't worry about the centering, just get the alignment as good as you can. Snug up the screw.

Next, find the two thin metal rings nestled in the donut. They will move the image in the direction of the tabs sticking out of the ring. That's why there are two - you can point them in the same direction for maximum effect, or 180 degrees apart to make them nullify each other, or somewhere in between. For example, if the image is too low and a bit to the right, you would point the tabs up but also a little to one side (say one o'clock). If its now too high, move them apart and away from one to say 12 and 2 o'clock or even 11 and 3. Experiment a bit and you'll get it.

Be careful with any adjustments back there as there is high voltage going through that big wire with the 'suction cup' to the tube.

Finally, use the pots on the PCB to adjust height and width to about a inch away fom the edges.
