Using something other than a sanyo in a Nintendo cab...

The Sanyo I'm using has some issues...I'm going to get it capped but in the meantime, I have a perfectly good (just capped) 19"...Now, I understand the inversion issue but my sanyo has a small inverter tacked onto it that I am currently not using...I figure I can pull that off and use it for the other monitor. The only issue I see is maybe with mounting it and obviously with the sound amp being on the sanyo, thats an issue...

Is there an easy way around the sound amp issue?

Thanks!

Yup, just use Mike's Arcade board in there. Remember that any monitor you decide to use in that cabinet should be capable of running on isolated 100 volts. Otherwise you'll need to either install a 120 volt isolation transformer & wiring it into a 120 volt source or getting a monitor that does not not need isolation since they can run on as low as 90 volts.
