I have a Happ 49-way joystick that I was going to use in a MAME setup, but now would like to use in in a Joust multi Williams cabinet using a JROK board. Does anyone here know if this joystick will work with a JROK or will it only work with a pc and the GP-Wiz 49 board?

Yes, that joystick will work. But only when Sinistar and Blaster are selected.
It can't be used as the joystick when other games are played.

Thank you very much! I was afraid that the stick would need a pc to function.

And JROK, if you come back to this thread, is there any chance that Sinistar could have a rom hack that would flip the play area by 90 degrees and reposition the scanner and score area to the side for better display on a horizontal monitor? On a TNT Arcades youtube video I saw Todd playing a multi Williams, presumably using a non JROK solution, and on it Sinistar was displaying in this horizontal way and it looked great. Any way that could be done using the superior JROK?
