Username Changes

Just an FYI, with the transition, this custom feature is fairly low priority in terms of coding. Yes, we understand how forums work and how easy it is to simply change a username, however, there are several databases relating to each other across several systems so there is a custom script to make this change happen.

I don't think you can have a space in there.

That's false.

Maybe spaces weren't allowed in the older forum software (vBulletin), but the new Xenforo forum definitely can handle spaces with no issues (see attachments).

Sigh. Please stop pretending you know everything. Xenforo may indeed allow spaces, however, the account you use to login to the forum is not a Xenforo account but a KLOV account. The username spans many databases (VAPS, KLOV, now Xenforo) so your "Thats False" is absolutely false.

Also, for everyone waiting, the script used to change your KLOV username is still on the list to be updated. Since changing a username is low priority in terms of the task list for the transition to the new forum script, it will be one of the last items to get updated.

It is solely your responsibility to research the requirements of a name change. When and if this is a thing again, valid requests will be processed.
